Gaye Temizarabacı è una designer e artista visiva nata in Turchia e residente in Italia, il cui lavoro creativo si colloca all’incrocio tra design, emozione e introspezione. Sebbene abbia una formazione nel campo del design industriale, i suoi dipinti rivelano una dimensione più intima e intuitiva, in cui il pensiero si dissolve e i sentimenti prendono il sopravvento.
Le sue opere non sono pensate per essere comprese a prima vista. Sono composizioni stratificate di colore, movimento e silenzio, ognuna delle quali è un frammento di un sentimento, una domanda senza risposta, un ricordo che riaffiora senza preavviso. Attraverso l’astrazione, dà forma ai momenti che spesso non riusciamo a definire: la tensione del desiderio, il dolore del distacco, il conforto della solitudine e la lucidità che segue le tempeste emotive. Ogni pennellata è un passo verso la comprensione e la guarigione di se stessa.
In Inner Moves, Gaye esplora cosa significa provare sentimenti profondi in un mondo in rapido movimento. Dipinge non per decorare, ma per tradurre. Analizza le sue emozioni come se fossero un linguaggio, le srotola, le svela e talvolta le affronta con dolcezza, talvolta con crudezza. Alcune parti delle sue tele pulsano di calore, mentre altre mantengono intenzionalmente il vuoto. Il suo uso dello spazio le permette di respirare.
Questa mostra invita gli spettatori a rallentare e immergersi nel suo mondo interiore, non per interpretare, ma per sentire. Gaye crede che il personale possa essere universale, e i suoi dipinti parlano delle emozioni inespresse che tutti noi portiamo dentro ma che raramente esprimiamo.

Gaye Temizarabacı is a Turkey born, Italy based designer and visual artist whose creative work lies at the intersection of design, emotion and introspection. Although she has a background in industrial design, her paintings reveal a more intimate and intuitive dimension where thought dissolves and feeling takes precedence.
Her works are not meant to be understood at first glance. They are layered compositions of colour, movement and silence, each a fragment of a feeling, a question left unanswered, a memory resurfacing without warning. Through abstraction, she gives shape to the moments we often fail to name: the tension of desire, the ache of detachment, the comfort of solitude and the clarity that follows emotional storms. Every brushstroke is a step towards understanding and healing herself.
In Inner Moves, Gaye explores what it means to feel deeply in a fast moving world. She paints not to decorate but to translate. She dissects her emotions as though they were a language, rolling them out, unravelling them and sometimes confronting them with softness and sometimes with rawness. Some parts of her canvases pulse with warmth while others intentionally hold emptiness. Her use of space allows her to breathe.
This exhibition invites viewers to slow down and immerse themselves in her inner world, not to interpret but to feel. Gaye believes that the personal can be universal, and her paintings speak to the unspoken emotions that we all carry but rarely articulate.
